Applications for Years 8 to 10 differ from Year 7. Rose Bay Secondary College manages its own vacancies, assessments, placement processes, and reserve lists (where applicable) for Years 8-10. Enrolment is dependent on available places and meeting the academic criteria. Please be advised that availability of places is limited.
Applications must be submitted to the school either via email or in person to the Front Office by the due date.

Selection Process
The suitability of applicants is determined by the college's Selection Placement Committee, which includes the principal, deputy principal, High Potential and Gifted Education Team Leader, and a parent representative. The committee will evaluate students for placement and may establish a reserve list based on academic merit.
The following criteria are considered when determining academic merit:
School reports
Results from academic competitions
Supporting documentation of high achievement in programs such as debating, public speaking, music, dance, drama, sports or maths Olympiads
How to apply:
Complete the application form
. Include:
A copy of the student’s birth certificate, citizenship or passport, and
Any copies of evidence highlighting their academic and co-curricular achievement
Return the completed application by 25 July 2025 via email or in person to the Front Office.
