The teachers at Rose Bay Secondary College are all caring and try hard to really connect with every student. I like them as people too – for example, my Society and Culture teacher is cool and connects with us, but at the same time we really respect her.
As well as academics, I’ve been given loads of opportunities to follow my interests and have been able to perform musically and get involved in other cocurricular activities like the Rock Band and Choir.
I also really value the social scene at school – there is a diversity of people to make friends with, all with different hobbies, world views and beliefs. I think that’s taught us respect and the skills for making strong connections.
