CAPA's show stopping start for term 4

The talented CAPA students of RBSC strutted on stage at the Dance and Drama Night in Week 1 to celebrate their creativity and showcase their craft to an adoring audience of family and friends.  The audience was enchanted by the grace and energy of the junior and senior dance ensembles under the expert choreography of Head Teacher Ms Kelly Vine and dance extraordinaire, Mr Alexander Ku.

The evening also celebrated the diverse talents and creativity of the drama students, entertaining the audience with comedy, mystery and fiction. Year 12 dance sensation, Kai Taberner closed the show with his self-choreographed dance entitled “Experience” that enthralled the audience and left them in awe. Kai’s talent has secured him scholarships and positions in prestigious dance academies including the Sydney Dance Company, inspiring our younger performers to aspire to greater heights.

The multi-faceted performing arts talent of the CAPA cohort will once again be showcased in the upcoming musical “Legally Blonde” which we are very excited to present later this term. Preparations are underway by cast, crew and musical band. Get in early to secure the best seats and let our performing arts students transport you from Rose Bay to Broadway!
