STEM girl winners!

Nais, Emma, Kitty and Maya successfully pitched their technology project "Sea Better", an interactive beach safety sign designed to inform beachgoers about beach safety and help reduce rescues and drownings. They translated their interactive sign into four different languages to be accessible to tourists and target the populations with the most beach related accidents. The girls reached out to lifesavers, lifeguards and our local MP Gabrielle Upton for feedback. 

The 11 finalist schools were interviewed on film by a panel of judges and our girls were very impressive with their articulate answers, professionalism and passion for their innovative project.

The girls were awarded over $1000 in prizes including a robot and drone for our school. Starsky also won a $100 JB Hi-Fi voucher for being the fastest student to complete the technology quizzes online.
