It was their first time playing Ultimate Frisbee against another school after less than two terms of training, and they were up against teams that had been training for years. They played their hearts out, with amazing throws, catches and even some dives. The Year 9s finished the day with 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss (to the only undefeated team in the tournament). They placed 9th out of 24 teams winning the coveted Nine-als, which is generally considered more important than the actual finals. They plan to keep training and are hoping to perform even better next year in the Senior School competition.
A big congratulations to you all. You all played incredibly well and were great sporting representative for Rose Bay Secondary College.
