Biggest best nipper representation yet

students at the state nippers carnival

The annual NSW State Nippers Carnival was conducted at Blacksmiths Beach from 1st March through to 3rd March. Over the years RBSC has always had very strong representation but this year was possibly not only the biggest RBSC representation but also the one with the best results. All of these nippers should be very proud of being nominated to attend the NSW State Nippers Carnival as this is a great achievement in itself. To make it into a final is an amazing achievement. To medal is simply sensational. RBSC is proud of all of our future Lifesavers. They will most certainly participate with aplomb as the water safety for the annual Year 7 Life Saving Week in December.

In addition to the nippers, Will from Year 9 competed in the NSW State Life Saving competition last weekend and performed extremely missing out on the finals by one place in the Board.

Lastly, the entry below was spotted on Facebook on Monday. Lily is one of our Year 8 students and we’re very proud of her efforts in saving a swimmer at Bronte.
