Zone opens boys basketball selection trials

Our Opens Boys Basketball Team traveled to JJ Cahill High School to trial for the Zone Team. The competition was fierce and a high standard of athleticism and skill was clearly visable from the start.

Round 1 our team defeated Central Sydney 33 - 8, a commanding first game.  The boys worked extremely well as a team and their defense was impeccable. 

Round 2 saw us come up against JJ Cahill. This game started slowly, however, eventuated with Rose Bay winning with an impressive 40-17. 

We drew South Sydney for Round 3. This was to be the boys toughest match, both physically and mentally. They played extremely hard, against  a  very strong fielded South Sydney Basketball Team, facing a defeat with a  32 - 18 loss. 

Rose Bay displayed absolute  sportsmanship and are to be congratulated for their strong team performances.

A special mention to Zac, Jordan and Isaac for making the Zone Team, a huge achievement.
