RBSC Alumni meet Elon Musk

Two RBSC alumni, Michael Kedar and Francis MacDonald have been involved in the UNSW Hyperloop Team.

Hyperloop is a revolutionary idea for the transport sector, first proposed by Elon Musk in 2013, that enables faster ground transportation. In competition, teams from around the world developed pods and competed to see which travelled the fastest down a mile long vacuum tube at SpaceX's headquarters in Hawthorne, CA.  The UNSW Hyperloop team have become the most successful newcomer team in the completion ranking 7th in 2019! While in California, Michael and Francis also met Elon Musk to discuss their design and the competition.
