On Friday 4 November, Maya, Isaac, Ben, and Alex (Year 12), Ellie, Holly, and Sophie (Year 10), and Doug (Year 8) participated in a Model UN Workshop Day held at Cranbrook.
As member states of the UN Security Council, our students were required to debate and pass UNSC Resolutions relating to three major contemporary international issues: the ongoing humanitarian and security situation in Sudan, the international energy crisis, and the question of international legal sovereignty. All students engaged with these challenging issues in a thoughtful and meaningful way and represented the College with distinction throughout the day. A big thank you to Mrs Godby for organising such a wonderful opportunity for our students
