HSC Design and Technology Major Project

This jacket is a HSC Design and Technology major project made from recycled materials.

The motivation for the project was a response to the millions of face masks being disposed of into land fill.

Year 12 student Katina disassembled the face masks and produced two wide brim hats, a jacket, and floor tiles from the range of plastics recovered from the masks.

The Jacket you see uses over 650 face masks.
